Commissioning a painting
This page of my website is dedicated to the memory of Ginny
Luck, a dear
friend and outstanding character to be remembered. Also this page is dedicated
to my inspiring little nephew Curtis
Porter, who started his fight with cancer
as a little boy and won as a brave little man.
Commissioning
a unique painting from Heather Alexis for your space is easy. Commissioning
a painting is a process of communicating with the artist to produce a painting,
which is particularly significant to you. The overall theme of the work,
the composition, the color palette and the dimensions of the work can all
be tailored to your particular space. Price is based on size and time taken
to complete the project. See examples of commissioned pieces for both Ginny
and Curtis by clicking on their links above.
For more information contact Heather Alexis at my art of relaxation email
address or call 902-441-9992. I would be happy to discuss your ideas and
inspirations.

Commissioning a painting Examples:
Ginny Luck

This
work is a garden image taken from the garden of Wendy Adams. Ginny was a
gardener herself and a colorful joyful character, these flowers reminded
of that and that is where the inspiration came from for this painting. This
painting will be placed in an appropriate space so that others can see it
and remember Ginny. To see an enlargement of this image, click on the thumbnail.

Curtis Porter

For
Curtis, who started his fight with cancer
as a little boy and won as a brave little man.
This
work was painted and donated for a charity auction. If you look very closely
at the enlargement (click on the small image) you will see the name Curtis
hidden in the painting. The Auction night was a huge success and lots
of fun.
